The employee was not protected by a hard hat or protective helmet, on or about November 22nd, 2018.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:                                                                                                             A) Exterior, On upper level of structure: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while using an electric saws and pneumatic nail guns while not protected with any type of eye/face protection, on or about November 22nd, 2018.   Darkwood Builders Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1140842, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 25th 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 461 Palisades Avenue in Fort Lee, NJ.

Darkwood Builders Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1264156, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 22nd 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3840 Park Avenue in Park Ridge, NJ.
