29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: At the time of the inspection, employees were sampled for eight hour time weighted average exposures to noise and the following results were found; a. Saw line position #2- 89.6 decibels(dose 89.6) b. Saw line unload- 90.7 decibels(dose 103.8) c. Nailer- 94.4 decibels(dose 174.6) d. Nailer- 93.7 decibels(dose 158.3) No hearing conservation program was in effect.
