29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   Worksite located at 16001 S. Outer Road, Belton, Missouri- Employees were in the process of removing pieces of the roof and roofing materials and were exposed to fall hazards and were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   Worksite located at 16001 S. Outer Road, Belton, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that the employees were using a ladder to access the roof structure that was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
