29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s):     (a) In the shop - An employee using a radial saw to cut a piece of aluminum had his thumb in the danger zone. The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade were not guarded by an automatically adjusting device; on or about 03/16/19.     NOTE:   IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $ 1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
