29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: a) At 67 Parks Edge, Lot 13 The Village Tannin, Orange Beach, Alabama: On or about March 26, 2019 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform painting activities from a ladder jack scaffold without first ensuring his employees were trained on the hazards associated with scaffolds to include but not limited to setting up and maintaining fall protection systems exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 18.5 feet to the ground below.
