29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) On or about March 27, 2019, front east-side of residential build; employees were observed working on the framing of a residential home dormer without fall protection in place to protect them falling an estimated 40-50 feet to ground level.   b) On or about March 27, 2019; 3rd floor rear area; the employer had an employee removing debris from the interior of the building to the forks of an all-terrain forklift without fall protection exposing him to a 30-foot fall hazard.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
