29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:   (a)  On April 9, 2019, the portable fire extinguisher located at beam A7 in the welding department was blocked by a pallet of formed steel.   (b)  On April 9, 2019, the portable fire extinguisher located at beam A9 in the welding department was blocked by a work table and a welding curtain.   (c)  On April 9, 2019, the portable fire extinguisher located at beam B2 near the SDS book and first aid station was blocked by  pallets of stored supplies.  (d)  On April 9, 2019, the portable fire extinguisher located at beam E5 outside the South Paint Booth was blocked by portable ladders and two wheels with tires that were stored against the wall.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.
