29 CFR 1926.651(c)(2): A stairway, ladder, ramp or other safe means of egress was not located in trench excavations that were 4 feet (1.22 m) or more in depth so as to require no more than 25 feet (7.62 m) of lateral travel for employees:    (a) 661 Sunnybrook Rd, Ridgeland MS - On or about April 11, 2019 an employee was working inside an 8 foot deep trench, relocating the sewer pipe, without any means of egress. The employee was exposed to entrapment hazards.

(a) 661 Sunnybrook Rd, Ridgeland MS - On or about April 11, 2019 an employee was working inside an 8 foot deep trench, relocating the sewer pipe, while the spoil pile, located on the north edge that the employee use to access the trench was less than 2 feet from the edge. Employee was exposed to struck by and entrapment hazards.
