29 CFR 1910.213(a)(15): Combs (featherboards) or suitable jigs were not provided at the workplace for use when a standard guard could not be used, as in dadoing, grooving, jointing, moulding, and rabbeting: a) Worksite, 770-09 Grand Blvd, Deer Park, NY - An employee was authorized to dado a piece of wood using a POWERMATIC Table Saw when a standard guard cannot be used and was not provided with a featherboard or suitable jig; on or about 02/11/2019. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

The employer did not report the amputation and in-hospitalization to OSHA; on or about 02/11/2019. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
