29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). A). on or about 05/02/19, at the site of 52-10 Marathon Pkwy, Little Neck, NY Employee digging in an unprotected trench approximately 5 ft. 10 inches in depth was exposed to the hazard of cave-in. The employee was in the trench without shoring or sloping. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
