29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a. On or about February 12, 2019, a subcontracted employee operating a nail gun to sheath a 6:12 pitch roof was not wearing eye protection, exposing himself to flying debris.  Doris L. Enamorando dba New Coast Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1309790, citation number 03, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on July 24, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 15 Jennie Lake Road, Lot 58, St. Augustine, FL 32095.  AJ New Construction and Repair, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1007334, citation number  01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on January 26, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 3805 Valverde Circle, Lot 7, Jacksonville, FL.  Conin Framing Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 974198, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 29, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 16592 Sand Hill Drive, Jacksonville, FL. On or about February 12, 2019, a subcontracted employee of BDM Construction was sheathing a 6:12 pitch roof without being protected from 22 feet 8-inches to the floor by the use of a fall protection system.    Doris L. On or about February 12, 2019, at the rear elevation of the home, a wooden job-made ladder used to gain access to the roof did not have side rails that extended 3 feet above the roof eve and exposed a subcontracted employee to a 9-foot fall hazard.
