On or about May 14, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a pneumatic nail gun did not wear safety glasses, thereby exposing the employee to the hazards associated with eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems:      a.  On or about May 14, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential window operations on a roof, twelve (12) feet above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.    Grom Carpentry Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1253913, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 11 Boulder Drive, Orland Park, IL.

On or about May 14, 2019, at the above addressed jobsite,  an employee had been provided fall protection training, however the employer failed to keep a written certification of record.    Grom Carpentry Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.503(b)(1)which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1253913, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 11 Boulder Drive, Orland Park, IL.
