29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage firefighting:  (a) Surfside Casual Furniture, 2606 Fire Road, Pleasantville, NJ: Training which included the general principals of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage firefighting was to not provided to employees expected to use a portable fire extinguisher in the event of an incipient stage fire upon initial hiring and at least annually thereafter, on or about 5/15/2019.   BY THIS DATE THE EMPLOYER MUST EITHER CORRECT THE ALLEGED VIOLATION(S) OR IMPLEMENT A FIRE SAFETY POLICY, AS OUTLINED IN 29 CFR 1910.38 WHICH INCLUDES THE EVACUATION REQUIREMENTS OF 29 CFR 1910.157(b).
