29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative: a) Tri-steel Corporation - Manufacturing plant located at 512 Sweedesboro Ave., Mickleton NJ: The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing, maintenance, unjamming, lubrication and cleaning operations on machinery, they made sure that the energy sources from electric, pneumatic, gas, etc., were rendered inoperative. Machinery included but was not limited to: the Messer Plasma cutting machine Model Plate Master II, S/N PMR10-15-6063, Geka/ Puma 110/ E-500 punch press, HEMSAW bandsaw, Koike Aronson Machine model # MGM2-1500, S/N 45971, Accurpress press break machine model #725012, S/N 11512, Accurshear press Model #625010, S/n 2372, Accurshear Press Model # 650012, etc. Occurred on or about 05/23/2019.
