OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a burn hazard:    On or about May 30, 2019, jobsite located at 7305 Garden Rd. Riviera Beach, FL 33404 syrup room, employees were exposed to burn hazards when working or traveling in the area where non-insulated pipes transport hot water mixed with detergent cleansing chemicals. Temperatures of the mix would be set-up to run between 185 degrees Fahrenheit to 220 degrees Fahrenheit.

Riviera Beach, FL 33404 syrup room, employees were exposed to thermal energy and chemical burn hazards while authorized and affected employees did not receive re-training when equipment and processes were changed at the syrup room.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes were not available for immediate emergency use:    On or about May 31, 2019, jobsite located at 7305 Garden Rd. Riviera Beach, FL 33404 laboratory, employees were exposed to an eye injury while working with corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to Phosphoric Acid 85% (pH=1.5) and not having a suitable eye wash station in the laboratory.
