(b) In the sawmill, an edger operator was exposed to noise levels at 211.7% of the permissible 8-hour TWA (90 dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 211.7% is approximately 95.4 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 461 minutes during one shift. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 19 minutes.    (c) In the sawmill, an output trimmer operator was exposed to noise levels at 190.5% of the permissible 8-hour TWA (90 dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 190.5% is approximately 94.6 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 480 minutes during one shift.    (d) In the sawmill, a grinder operator was exposed to noise levels at 446.3% of the permissible 8-hour TWA (90 dBA).  The equivalent dBA level of 446.3% is approximately 100.8 dBA.  Sampling was performed for 480 minutes during one shift.
