OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:  a)  Receiving Department, Zone D - On or about June 5, 2019, a section of steel storage racking was missing a beam locking device between a crossbeam and its upright.   ABATEMENT NOTE:  Among others, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to follow ANSI MH16.1-2008; entitled "Specification for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks; Section 7.1.2. Beam Connection and Column Base Plates; Beam Locking Device - Except for moveable-shelf racks, beams shall have connecting locking devices (or bolts) capable of resisting and upward force of 1,000 pounds (453.6kg) per connection without failure or disengagement.
