29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them): (a) Triple AAA Builders LLC, at 1100 Blue River Parkway, Silverthorne, CO: On and preceding 6/5/19, the employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them). Employees were framing multi-story multi-family residential structures. Employees were exposed to fall hazards and flying object hazards during work operations. The employer did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite. This condition exposed the employees to approximate 22.5 foot and 10.1 foot fall hazards and eye injury hazards.

Employees were framing a multi-story multi-family residential structure. Employees used pneumatic nail guns to frame the wood structure. Eye protection was not used during this operation. This condition exposed the employees to an eye injury hazard.
