29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a)  On or about June 24, 2019, the employer, JC Subcontractors, did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that 11 employees who were removing and installing shingles on residential homes and were not utilizing a fall protection system.  The residential homes, located at the located at the Terrace at Columbine on 7520A, 7520B, 7520C, 7520D, and 7520E West Coal Mine Ave, Littleton, CO, had a roof height of approximately 11.9 feet for the first level and 21.9 feet for the second level.  This condition exposed the 14 employees to a fall of approximately 11.9 to 21.9 feet.  Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
