Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm including severe burns, to employees in that employees were exposed to flammable liquid residual inside sealed 55 gallon drums during drum crushing job tasks while using the 2000 psi drum crushing machine.       a)    Drum Crushing Machine outside area:  On or about August 6, 2019 and prior to, the employer exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards by instructing employee to use a drum crushing machine on sealed  55 gallon drums that contained a flammable product called Hempels Shopprimer ZS 15899 (Part A).

29 CFR 1910.94(c)(7)(iii)(b): A pressure gage marked to show the pressure drop across the filters of the spray booth to indicate that the filters require cleaning or replacement was not installed:  a)    Spray Paint Booth: On or about August 6, 2019 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards by not having a working gauge that will show pressure drop across filters to ensure filters are replaced or cleaned to ensure airflow through the booth.
