Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employees a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to the hazard of being struck by the abrasive wheel of a cut-off saw.    JOBSITE:  200 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford, CT.    On or about 7/12/2019 an employee who was required to use a Stihl TS 420 cut-off saw to cut 15 inch plastic water pipe was injured after the saw kicked back and the rotating blade struck him in the chest.
