29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:    a- 1219 Rue Avenue, Point Pleasant NJ: Workers, not using the required fall protection, were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below when performing vinyl siding installation and other related activities at the worksite.  Condition noted on or about 07/30/19 and 07/31/19.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii):    a- 1219 Rue Avenue, Point Pleasant NJ: On or about 07/30/19 workers who had not received training to use fall protection, the limitations of that fall protection, the nature of fall hazards in the work area, the correct procedures for erecting and maintaining fall protection, etc. were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below when performing vinyl siding installation and other related activities at the worksite without the use of fall protection.      NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
