29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks.    a) Jobsite: 2045 Bennett Rd, Philadelphia, shop, Southbend Lathe #664Z - Employees using the lathe to manufacture measuring instruments were exposed to swarf, entanglement, and amputation hazards without the use of a shield to guard the rotating chuck.    b) Jobsite: 2045 Bennett Rd, Philadelphia, shop, Gang of 4 South Bend Drill Press Station - Employees using the drill presses to manufacture measuring instruments were exposed to swarf, entanglement, and amputation hazards without the use of drill shields to guard the rotating chucks and drill bits.    c) Jobsite: 2045 Bennett Rd, Philadelphia, shop, Burgmaster Spindle Auto-Indexing Turret Drill OB#8069 - Employees using the turret drill to manufacture measuring instruments were exposed to swarf, entanglement, and amputation hazards without the use of drill shields to guard the rotating chuck and drill bit.    d) Jobsite: 2045 Bennett Rd, Philadelphia, shop, Southbend Drill Press Catalog#400-F, Walker Turner Drill Presses #336098 and #9971, Delta Drill Press #10-9875 - Employees using the drill presses to manufacture measuring instruments were exposed to swarf, entanglement, and amputation hazards without the use of drill shields to guard the rotating chucks and drill bits.    e) Jobsite: 2045 Bennett Rd, Philadelphia, shop, Bridgeport Milling Machine #1939401- Employees using the milling machine to manufacture measuring instruments were exposed to swarf, entanglement, and amputation hazards without the use of a drill shield to guard the rotating chuck and drill bit.
