29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): The employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures in any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer:   On or about August 2, 2019, an employee was exposed to respiratory stressors while being required to wear a MSA Advantage 4000 full face tight-fitting respirator while performing preventative maintenance and repairs on an ammonia refrigeration system located at the World Class Distribution site in Minooka, IL. The employer did not establish and implement an adequate written respiratory program that included sections such as, but not limited to, medical evaluations and fit-testing procedures for tight-fitting respirators.    There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
