The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle:   Pressing Area:  On, or about, July 17, 2019, an employee suffered serious burns to her hands when the Ajax hot head press, serial number 1253847, closed while she was adjusting an article on the bed of the press.  The press was inadequately safeguarded in that the press controls were in poor condition, were not adequately protected against accidental contact and a two employees were working on the press at the same time.
