29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for the extremities was not used wherever chemical hazards are encountered that are capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption or physical contact.   a) Rear Warehouse Blending Area - On or about 8/6/19, Rear Warehouse employee(s) were exposed to a chemical splash hazard to the lower extremities while transfer pumping hydrofluoric acid.  Appropriate personal protective equipment was not used to protect the employee(s) from injury through physical contact and absorption of the hydrofluoric acid.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
