OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards and death from falling trees and branches:  In the following instances, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while removing a 35 foot tall poplar tree:  a) On or about August 15, 2019, an employee did not properly rig a section of tree being cut to control its direction of fall and avoid being struck.   b) On or about August 15, 2019, an employee holding the base of a ladder was positioned below a tree section being cut and in the path of tree movement.
