29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   (a) On August 20, 2019 and at times prior thereto, employees engaged in framing activities on a new residential unit were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10-18 feet with no fall protection. 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(iii): The employer did not assure that each employee has been trained, as necessary, by a competent person in the use and operation of guardrail systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other protection to be used:  a) Jobsite: On August 20, 2019 and at times prior thereto an employee performing framing activities on a 6:12 and 8:12 pitched roof did not recognize and/or acknowledge the hazard of working without a fall protection system in place. The employees did not take action to minimize the fall hazards of approximate 10-18 feet.   NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
