On April 15, 2019, during the planned outage, subcontractor's employees were allowed to go up on the roof and breakroom area of the Steam Generator Building, elevation 217 ft. at Dynegy Zimmer Power Station, even with a "Danger, Keep Off Roof "sign on the door and were not instructed of the danger of a fire and explosion hazard and any special precautions when a hydrogen gas vent pipe line vented hydrogen gas during the de-gassing from the steam generator turbine.
