OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to falls while attempting to fell a heavily decayed tree. The employer failed to recognize the heavily decayed tree trunk prior to instructing employees to climb it..     On or about 09/13/2019 an employee fell approximately 25' while attempting to fell a tree while harnessed to it. The tree base was heavily decayed which caused the tree to collapse with the employee still attached.
