29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) Worksite, 215 E Main St. Patchogue, New York - An employee was discarding sheets of plywood along the edge of the roof of a commercial building approximately 19 ft. above the ground and was not protected from falling; on or about 10/05/2019.   Note: Because of the abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
