29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  (a) Catholic Charities and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Denver, Inc. at 1285 Centaur Village Dr., STE 100, Lafayette, CO: On and before October 15, 2019, the employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at the workplace a site specific written hazard communication program. While employees work with cleaning chemicals and deodorants such as Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Windex Original and Febreze, which are not hazardous or are used below typical consumer duration and frequency, these employees were potentially exposed to hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to Super Sani-Cloth germicidal Wipes and Spot Shot Carpet Stain Remover, that are used and stored by contract medical providers and cleaners at the site, if a chemical release incident occurred.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  (a) Catholic Charities and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Denver, Inc. at 1285 Centaur Village Dr., STE 100, Lafayette, CO: On and before October 15, 2019,  the employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area.  Employees did not know the hazards of the chemicals in their work areas. This condition potentially exposed employees to chemical hazards, including but not limited to Super Sani-Cloth germicidal Wipes, and Spot Shot Carpet Cleaner.   Abatement Note: Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and material safety data sheets.

Personal protective equipment was provided to employees for activities including but not limited to collection dirty bed sheets from exam rooms and picking up garbage at the site.
