OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fire/explosion hazard from batteries not being secured in an enclosed compartment.   A) Off shore of the MacKay staging area, on or about October 15, 2019, and or times prior to, employees were using a Hanko aluminum boat that had fuel lines running through a covered compartment in the aft end of the boat, where two batteries that were not secured were being used, exposing the employees to a fire/explosion hazard.
