29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  At the jobsite located at 13880 Metcalf Ave., in Overland Park, Kansas.  Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 35 feet from the third floor of the building to the ground below.  A fall protection system was not in place to keep them from falling.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At the jobsite located at 13880 Metcalf Ave., in Overland Park, Kansas.  Employees engaged in framing activities, installing joists on the third floor of a new building, were not provided with fall protection training to understand the hazards associated with falls, and the use of fall protection to minimize these hazards.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder shall not be used as a step.  At the jobsite located at 13880 Metcalf Ave., in Overland Park, Kansas.  Employee(s) engaged in framing activities, using the eight foot Werner step ladder was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet from the top of the ladder to the floor below.  The top rung of the step ladder was used as a step.
