29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns:  a) On or about 11/15/19, at 2322 Lyell Avenue, in Rochester, New York, the employer did not enforce the use of hard hats where employees were working below a roof "tear-off". Employees were exposed to falling building debris and roofing materials.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATON REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On or about 11/15/19, at 2322 Lyell Avenue, in Rochester, New York, employees were working on surfaces 13 feet above lower levels without the use of fall protection. The employer did not enforce the use of fall protection.   NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
