29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(i):   Employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section, or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites.  a)  1706 Paterson Plank Road,  North Bergen, NJ.  Employees were exposed to electric shock as temporary power cords were being plugged into branch circuit outlets that had no GFCI protection.                                                     Violation observed on or about 12/10/2019.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14):   Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.   a)  1706 Paterson Plank Road,  4th Floor, North Side, North Bergen, NJ.  Sheetrock subcontractor had removed 2 x 4 guardrails from the wall opening to the elevator shaft exposing other contractors on the site to falls of 4 stories to the bottom of the shaft.                                                      Violation observed on or about 12/10/2019.
