29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor shall not have other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. Seven employees performing roofing activities without fall protection or a Safety Monitor. This was most recently documented on January 6, 2020 at Bakers Grocery Store located at 13250 West Maple Omaha, NE 68164. The roof was a flat pitch roof, without a designated Safety Monitor. All employees on roof were performing roofing activities. Ground to working level of employees was at or near 13 feet.
