29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. (a) On or about January 8, 2020, employees engaged in shingle installation on a roof with a 4:12 pitch roof, were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard in excess of 25 feet. The Alternative Design & Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1219095, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on May 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at W160 S7131 Daisy Drive, Muskego, WI 53150.
