29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of American National Standards Institute and/or paragraph (d) of 29 CFR 1926.303 as required. a) On or about January 7, 2020, at the front of the site, employee(s) engaged in framing operations were using a Makita hand grinder, model 9557PB, to clean up pieces of metal. The grinder was not equipped with a safety guard.

29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables shall not be used. a) On or about January 7, 2020, at the front of the building, employees engaged in framing operation were using a Dewalt circular saw, model DWE575SB, serial no. 287499, to cut framing planks. The power cord was worn and frayed.
