Employees are exposed to the hazard of a mechanical rotating part. This violation was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near 2500 E 23rd St., Columbus, Nebraska 68601 on or about January 14, 2020. The Wilton drill press was being used by an employee without a guard.

The employer is failing to ensure that the opening between the work rest and abrasive wheel did not exceed one-eighth inch on the 8-inch DeWalt bench grinder. The opening was one-fourth of an inch.
