29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a)  On January 29, 2020, employees performing carpentry work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet from the roof of a commercial structure.  Serna & Sons Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1290137, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 19, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 6447 N. Ridge Ave., Long Grove, IL 60047.
