29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    (a) On or about January 31, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that suitable facilities for flushing of the eyes were provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Employees were exposed to eye injuries while using corrosive substances, such as phosphoric acid and dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid, to clean equipment and work surfaces. The brewing shop does not have a suitable facility for quick flushing of the eyes.    Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  (a) On or about January 31, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that sufficient access and working space was provided and maintained about electric equipment operating at less than 600 volts. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards in that access to an electrical panel in the SW corner of the shop was blocked by tools, equipment, and materials. 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information specified under paragraphs (f)(6)(i) through (ii) of this section:  (a) On or about January 31, 2020, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals was labeled, tagged or marked with specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of each hazardous chemical. Employees were exposed to contact with chemical hazards in that the employer did not label containers with hazardous chemicals, such as spray bottles containing phosphoric acid, and dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid. These chemicals substances can cause burns to eyes and skin upon contact.
