29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: South Coast Urology Center, 1601 S Main St. Fall River, MA 02724 On 02/04/2020, employees were exposed to falls from heights of approximately 12 feet to the ground while walking on, accessing, egressing, and preparing to install a new HVAC unit on a flat roof of a commercial building where fall protection such as a guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems was not utilized
