29 CFR 1910.30(a)(1): Before any employee is exposed to a fall hazard, the employer must provide training for each employee who uses personal fall protection systems or who is required to be trained as specified elsewhere in this subpart. Employers must ensure employees are trained in the requirements of this paragraph on or before May 17, 2017. a.) On or about February 12, 2020, an employee was not trained to recognize fall hazards such as, but not limited to, a 12 foot fall hazard while operating an elevated Versalift extensible and articulating boom bucket aerial lift nor was he trained on when to utilize a fall protection system.

On or about February 12, 2020, an employee was exposed to a 12 foot fall hazard while operating a Versalift extensible and articulating boom lift bucket truck without the use of a personal fall arrest or travel restraint system.
