29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not kept free and unobstructed.  Materials or equipment were placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route.    a. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, the exit route path of travel, to the emergency exit door that leads to the building exterior, was obstructed.    b. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, the exit route path of travel, leading to the front of the store and mall area, was obstructed.    NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, in a readily accessible way, subjecting the employees to injuries.    a. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, next to the emergency exit door that leads to the building exterior, two (2) 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguishers were not mounted in a readily accessible way.    b. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, to the right of the electrical service panels, one (1) 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible.    c. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, on top of the electricity stepdown transformer, one (1) 10-pounds, ABC dry chemical, portable fire extinguisher was not readily accessible.    NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.      a. On or about February 6, 2020, at the Champs Sports back storage room in the Tutu Park Mall retail store, at least four (4) electrical service panels and one (1) stepdown transformer in the area were not readily accessible. There were several boxes, devices and materials laying on the floor below, in front and about, obstructing access.    NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
