Employees working in the garage shop area were exposed to caught-in hazards in that the Brilliant metal cut off saw used to cut wood did not provide a mechanical control so the operator could cut off power without leaving the position at the point of operation.

Employees engaged in welding activities in the shop area were exposed to electrical shock hazards in that the Miller arc welder, model Millermatic 252 cables had damaged insulation, exposing bare conductors. The welder was located in the shop area, Eastside wall, and by the walkway door.
