29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of radial saw(s) were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remained in contact with the stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed:    a) On or about February 19, 2020, in the shop, an employee was required to work with an Original Saw Company radial arm saw and the lower portion of the blade was not guarded. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards associated with an unguarded saw blade.

The employer did not verify, through a written certification, the identity of the workplace evaluated, the person certifying that the evaluation had been performed, and the date the hazard assessment was done.
