29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:     MoCO Stick Recovery machine, Serial Number 84302B        a) At the Planer Surfacing (Dry end) area, the employer did not ensure written energy control procedures for the servicing and maintenance of the Stick Recovery machine were utilized. Operators routinely cleared sticks that crossed up and out. Employees were exposed to moving machine parts, materials (sticks) and crush and struck-by hazards created by the moving conveyor and bins.     b) On February 19, 2020, during the walk-around inspection, at the Planer Surfacing (Dry end) an employee used his/her hands to clear sticks that crossed up and out. The employer did not ensure that lockout/tagout procedures were utilized. Employees were exposed to crush and struck-by hazards.
