OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:   1) On February 19, 2020, and at prior times, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from crushing and struck by hazards while working underneath vehicles that were elevated on automotive lifts, in that the employer did not ensure that employees lowered the lift to the locking mechanisms.      Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate the hazard would be to implement the guidelines of the American National Standard for Automotive Lifts- Safety Requirements for Operation, Inspection, and Maintenance.
