Employees were exposed to hazardous substances such as silica when cutting stone veneer and using Portland Cement, Lime & Sand Mortar.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s) (Construction Reference 1926.59):  a) At the construction site, where a safety data sheet (SDS) for Portland Cement, Lime & Sand Mortar, a corrosive containing silica, was not maintained.  b) At the construction site, where a safety data sheet (SDS) for stone venner, a corrosive containing silica, was not maintained.

29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1:  a) At building 1 of an apartment complex, where the handheld power saw used to cut stone veneers was not equipped with integrated water delivery system that continuously feeds water to the blade, exposing employees to inhalation hazards.
